Wanko-soba showdown

It's time for the Wanko-soba showdown! You eat soba noodles from very small bowls, with 15 bowls equaling one serving of soba. The soba is served warm, dipped in hot soup. The best part is you can change the flavor with various condiments, which keeps it interesting. I managed to eat 30 bowls, but the store's record for a woman is 753 bowls! Dessert is included, and I was stuffed!

Soaking in the silky smooth onsen

I went to the hot spring first. The water is transparent, incredibly smooth, and feels amazing for the skin. It felt like I was soaking in serum, making my skin so smooth and silky. The scent of the hot spring alone is healing and relaxing. I felt rejuvenated after soaking, and my skin felt incredibly smooth the next morning.

A hot spring village with six different hot springs, located about an hour's drive from Morioka Station. It's said that Kenji Miyazawa visited here. Guests staying at Sansuikaku can also use the Toujiya hot spring next door. The hot spring water is an alkaline simple hot spring, known for wrapping your whole body in moisture.
