Creator's voice- Japanese macaques (snow monkeys) — Over 120 snow monkeys, or Japanese macaques, roam freely here. They're a species native to Japan, found across mountain ranges. They seem fairly undaunted by human visitors, scurrying between legs, especially if you have snacks.
- Kyoto city view — From the park, you get one of the best views of the entire city of Kyoto. It's a beautiful reward after the hike up.

Creator's voice- Yokai monster statues — Each shop on Yokai Street displays a unique monster statue, some from traditional Japanese folklore, others imagined by the shopkeepers. They're a tribute to the legend of discarded items coming to life.

Creator's voice- Chris's monster creation — My monster creation used photocopied hands for a realistic skin effect, fish flakes for hair (genuinely stinky!), smoky cheese for the eyes, and delicious meat for the mouth, giving it a meaty, salty flavor. It's genuinely terrifying.
- Pete's Mr. Chocolate Face monster — Pete's monster, 'Mr. Chocolate Face,' featured bubblegum for a hat and tongue, Pocky chocolate biscuits for hair, and forks to make it stand up. It's pretty cool and unique.
