Creator's voice- Matsukaze Course — A course meal featuring local sashimi, San'in soba, layered steamed snow crab, simmered nodoguro, Shimane wagyu tataki, and steamed shijimi clams. The crab in the soba is a rare treat for a set like this, and the wagyu tataki melts in your mouth.
- Simmered nodoguro — My first time trying nodoguro, and it was a whole new, delicious experience. It's so good, it makes you want a bowl of rice.
- Shimane wagyu tataki — This Shimane wagyu tataki is incredibly good. The fat just melts in your mouth, and the lean meat tastes amazing too.
- Steamed shijimi clams from Lake Shinji — Packed with clams, the broth is incredible, basically pure clam flavor. Every single clam is full of umami, so don't underestimate them despite their small size.
- Nodoguro rice bowl · ¥1100 — One of their signature dishes, this nodoguro bowl won the national local donburi championship twice. You can order it by itself for ¥1,100, which feels like a great deal. The wasabi goes really well with its rich and fatty flavor.
- Grilled nodoguro (extra dish) · ¥1210 — We ended up ordering extra grilled nodoguro because it was so amazing and incredible. Everyone should definitely order this as an extra dish.
- Izumo zenzai — A gentle sweetness with fluffy red beans. It was amazing and so good, even though we planned to eat zenzai again the next day.
