Swimming at a Private Beach Villa
We arrived at Casa Mare, a private beach villa, and I was so excited to jump into the ocean! The water in Shimane is incredibly clear and beautiful. We spent about three hours swimming and playing in the sea. It was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday, just soaking up the sun and enjoying the waves. The water was a bit salty, but it was so refreshing and fun!

Traditional Dinner at Kameya Ryokan
After a long day of swimming, we headed to Kameya Ryokan for dinner. The menu was incredible, featuring local Shimane specialties. Everything was so delicious, especially the warm vegetables and the butter-cooked meat. It was a fantastic birthday dinner, and I felt so happy and grateful. The food was so good, I couldn't stop eating!

Finding Fortune at Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine
We visited Izumo Taisha, and it was such a spiritual experience. I drew an omikuji (fortune slip) and it was a great one! It said that everything would go smoothly, like cherry blossoms in full bloom, and that I should honor my ancestors. It also mentioned that travel and marriage would be good. It felt like a very lucky year ahead. The atmosphere was so calming and healing, I felt completely refreshed.
