The spa at Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto is an absolute must-do. The walkway to the spa is mesmerizing, and the locker room facilities are pristine and beautiful. After a tour, they'll hook you up with your locker and provide little baby drawers to wear (though I had to pass on those!). The massage room faces out to a serene garden, and the staff are incredibly nice, pouring tea and even giving a foot massage before your main treatment. It's definitely worth the experience, and they'll put you right to sleep. Afterwards, enjoy tea and snacks to top off the relaxation.

You should definitely try a conveyor belt sushi experience just for the vibe! It's super efficient: you put in your party number, get a table number, go sit, and then you get to eat. Everything is covered by a little curtain, making it feel intimate. I'd say this is like the Applebee's of sushi, so for legit sushi, you should go to an omakase restaurant. Also, I recommend ordering your sushi fresh rather than taking it off the conveyor belt, as the belt sushi can be a little warm, and I didn't like that. But the price was good!
