Undertaking the Monster Gyoza Challenge

Natsuki and I went head-to-head in the monster gyoza challenge, where we were served a portion of gyoza big enough to give Godzilla a run for his money. There's a rule that if you get sick, you have to pay $300 and clear it up yourself, which tells you people actually get sick. After about five minutes, the flavor gets too overwhelming and repetitive, unlike ramen which has diverse flavors. I felt awful afterwards, and Natsuki was even sick. I don't recommend it, even if you like to eat a lot of food; it just wasn't fun.

Visiting the Kill Bill Restaurant

Natsuki chose this famous restaurant, which inspired the setting where Uma Thurman kills lots of people in Kill Bill. I've avoided it for years because I knew it would be a bit of a tourist trap, and it was. You can get much better food at a much better price pretty much everywhere else in Tokyo. However, if it's your first time in Tokyo, you'll be none the wiser, and if you're a big fan of Kill Bill, it's unavoidable. Ask yourself if you like Kill Bill a lot; if the answer is yes, then you should go.
