Traditional candle making and painting
At Nakamura Rousoku Candle Craft, an 11th-generation family business, every candle is handmade. We tried making our own, dipping the wicks into red wax. I messed up a bit, but it was a fun challenge! We even hand-painted ours, which was not as easy as it looks. Each person makes almost a thousand by hand a day here. Do not show Yayoi Kusama this! It's a unique and hands-on experience.
