Transcendent matcha soba noodles
Before the matcha class, we went to this little cafe right next to the tea making shop and had these green tea matcha soba noodles. Let me tell you, those were so freaking good! Matthew and I were saying we transcended time, it was that good. The environment was so calm and tranquil with classical music playing and friendly servers. These matcha soba noodles were super smooth, not grainy like regular buckwheat soba, and I highly recommend them.

Grinding and making matcha from scratch
We did a little matcha making class where you actually grind the tea leaves yourself and then get to make the matcha you just ground into tea. It was honestly one of the coolest experiences I've ever had before, feeling so Zen and calming. I didn't have a single fiber in me that was stressed out.
