What does a $3000 Japanese Hotel Room look like?

We stumbled upon this market stand in the middle of nowhere, loaded with fresh vegetables from the garden just behind it. There's no one around, but all the produce is labeled with prices. You just pick what you want, like a zucchini for 100 yen, put the money in the box, and go. It's quite humbling and sums up the kind of trust you find in Japanese culture, which I wish we had in other countries.

After cycling through the fields, we had rice balls for breakfast, made from the very rice grown in the fields around us by nice local farmers. It was an uncharacteristically good morning, a cheeky cycle through a field.

Ryotaro dragged me up a mountain for a 'nice view,' which turned out to be paragliding! It was a little bit scary, especially taking off before I even knew what was going on. I was supposed to jump in and sit down, but I felt like I was dangling out the front the whole time. Despite my anxious face, it was a lot of fun, and I survived!

Next up was a ski jump into the water. I had to wear a wetsuit on a 35-degree day, which made me feel like utter shit, but at least I got to watch Ryotaro go first. It was my first ever ski jump into water, and I officially had no energy afterward. Unlike Ryotaro, I managed to keep both my skis!

After paragliding and water skiing, I was about to do a zipline for the first time. It was quite high, and I was pushed down by Ryotaro. It was another thrilling challenge in a bizarre day of activities.

We ended the day glamping, which is 'glamorous camping.' Ryotaro was in charge of the barbecue and managed to set the food on fire, so I was worried about salmonella chicken and onions. But then he surprised me with 100% German sausages, which I had to cook and taste. Despite the near-death experiences, the barbecue and the chandelier in the tent made it a whole new ball game.
