- Ganzuki — A local steamed cake from the southern Iwate region, served warm. It has a simple, traditional flavor with a hint of sesame and walnut, similar to a steamed bun. It pairs well with the accompanying sour pickled cherry blossom.

Flying Dumplings at Genbikei Gorge
