I Rented Japan's $800,000 PRIVATE Yacht for a Day | Okinawa

Head to Kokusai Dori, Naha's 'International Street,' often called the 'one-mile miracle' for its variety. The challenge was to find a gift for Chiaki for under 2,000 yen (about $15). I looked for unique Okinawan souvenirs, like spam or bizarre local items, but ultimately went for a synthetic frog purse to create a 'relaxation kit.' Natsuki bought a goya-shaped plate and chopsticks, while Joey found an MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) pepperoni pizza slice from a military shop. It's a fun, competitive way to explore the shops.

Experience genuine Okinawan hospitality at a local family home. Chiaki prepared a lavish banquet of traditional dishes, including goya, fresh local seafood, and pork. Before dinner, we toured her dad's impressive 'sake room,' which houses a vast collection of koshu (old sake) and other liquors. The highlight was tasting habushu, a snake-infused sake, which is said to increase stamina due to the snake's 19 amino acids. It's a strong drink, like a mix of vodka and whiskey, with a bitter, raw smell. Be prepared for a challenge, especially if you're not used to spicy food, as Chiaki might have a revenge forfeit involving one of the world's spiciest foods (9 million Scovilles!).

Rent a private yacht, specifically an 800,000-dollar catamaran, for a day of island hopping around Okinawa's stunning seas. The cost was 125,000 yen (about $1,200) for the day, which becomes more affordable when split among five or six people. The yacht features a captain's area where you can drive, an outdoor seating area for breakfast and lunch, a well-stocked fridge, an indoor kitchen/dining area with air conditioning, two comfortable guest bedrooms (one with a raised bed, another with a slightly different design), and a surprisingly impressive bathroom with a normal toilet and bidet. You can even see the water beneath the catamaran from inside. We anchored off a private island for swimming and snorkeling, encountering abundant tropical fish in the clear waters. Be careful when feeding the fish, as they can get quite aggressive! You can also try stand-up paddleboarding. It's a fantastic way to experience Okinawa's beautiful waters and islands.

After a day on the yacht, head to America Town, a sprawling American-themed district on the waterfront. The challenge was to take a photo that makes you look like a millionaire. Joey's photo, channeling 'Jordan Belfort,' won the challenge. It's a fun way to end the day and capture some memorable, humorous photos.
