Stepping into a Salvador Dali painting at Teshima Art Museum
The Teshima Art Museum, located right by the ocean, is a profound and special experience. Admission is ¥1,570, and online advance reservations are highly recommended. While it only has one single piece of artwork on display, it feels like the Seto Inland Sea itself is the artwork. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the main art space, but experiencing it is like stepping inside a Salvador Dali painting – incredibly surreal, fascinating, and unlike any art experience you've had before.

'Umi no Restaurant' offers an open terrace with a stunning, unobstructed view of the Seto Inland Sea, making you feel like you have the entire sea to yourself. The freshly caught octopus from the Seto Inland Sea is incredibly bouncy and firm, caught by the island's only dedicated octopus fisherman. The ocean breeze feels amazing, and the white wine jelly on top of the dish adds a sparkling touch. This restaurant is an absolute 10 out of 10.

Cold Udon with fresh Teshima lemons — A unique and refreshing dish featuring cold udon noodles topped with fresh Teshima lemons. The broth has a strong, deliciously sour lemon kick, which the creator absolutely loved. The udon noodles themselves have an amazing, perfectly chewy and smooth texture.
