Conquer the Wanko Soba Noodle Challenge
- Wanko Soba noodles · Varies by restaurant — Small bowls of buckwheat soba noodles, served one after another. Each bowl contains about six strands of noodles. The challenge is to eat as many as possible, with a server constantly refilling your bowl the moment you finish.
- Side dishes (tuna, chicken, radishes) — Alongside the wanko soba, you get various side dishes like tuna, chicken, and radishes. However, the creator advises against eating them in the heat of the moment, as the last thing you want is more food when trying to hit a high bowl count.
- Wasabi — Adding a little wasabi to your bowl of soba can give it a nice, subtle kick. Be careful not to add too much.
- Wooden plaque — If you manage to eat 100 bowls of wanko soba, you'll receive a small wooden plaque as a token of your achievement.
