I had breakfast at a restaurant right in front of the sea at Shichirigahama. The food looked so delicious and fluffy, with a sweetness that wasn't too strong, making it easy to eat. There was even ice cream inside! After the meal, I went up to the rooftop to enjoy the sparkling sea. It's a perfect start to the day.

Exploring Hasedera Temple's cultural and natural beauty
I took a stroll through the temple grounds, which were beautiful with autumn leaves. I visited the building housing one of Japan's largest wooden Buddha statues (no photos allowed inside), and then explored the neighboring Buddhist hall. The view from the temple was amazing! I also ventured into a mystical cave, once used by a famous monk, which felt like a bit of an adventure. Before leaving, I found a commemorative stamp with a cute Jizo statue.

Encountering the Great Buddha of Kamakura
I came to see the national treasure, the Great Buddha of Kamakura. It's truly huge and a symbol of the city, despite its mysterious origins. For an admission fee of 50 yen, I entered the body of the Great Buddha, which was surprisingly high inside! You can really feel its long history and advanced bronze craftsmanship. There's also a store inside the temple grounds with many unique souvenirs.

Then, I tried a purple sweet potato ice cream, which tasted okay. I also had something very juicy and tasty. It's a great place to graze and shop.
