The sole reason for my Japan trip was to have Kobe beef. I headed over to Kobe specifically for this experience. It's an absolute must-try if you're in the area, a truly unforgettable meal.

Snack and spot deer in Nara
afternoonfew-hours
My main purpose in Nara was honestly just to eat three things, and I did that! I didn't even go inside the park at all, but I actually ended up seeing the deer anyways, which worked out perfectly. You can grab some street food and still encounter the famous deer.

Late night takoyaki in Dotonbori
late-night
I headed over to Dotonbori, but it was late and raining, so I only got to try one of the many places I had pinned. Unfortunately, the takoyaki ended up being so bad! It was a bit of a disappointment, but the atmosphere of Dotonbori is still worth experiencing.
