A unique adventure in Miyazaki, this revived railway line offers a breathtaking journey on an open-air 'Grand Super Cart.' Locals fought to save it, and it's a must-visit for anyone looking for a sky-high experience that most tourists miss. It crosses Japan’s highest railway bridge, 105m above the gorge. Tickets are sold on-site at the station on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early. It operates from 9:00 AM to 3:25 PM (last departure). Station entry is ¥100. Super Cart tickets are ¥2,300 for adults, ¥1,500 for children, and ¥800 for preschoolers. You can get there by taking the 'Takachiho-go' Express Bus from Kumamoto Station (approx. 3 hours), or by renting a car from Kumamoto or Miyazaki.
