Soaking in a snowy outdoor onsen
Walk to the very end of the alley at Ganiba Onsen to find this incredible view. There are two onsen ponds here: one communal pond and another for day passes. I soaked in the day pass pond, and it was absolutely amazing. The warm onsen water combined with the negative temperatures and the snowy forest view is the best feeling ever. I highly recommend coming here!

The last stop in the Nyuto Onsen village, offering a unique outdoor onsen experience surrounded by snow. It features both communal and day-pass onsen ponds.

Day-pass onsen pond — This is the onsen pond available for day-pass visitors. It's a fantastic experience to soak in the warm water while surrounded by deep snow and a beautiful winter forest.
