Kushikatsu · ¥700 — The kushikatsu here is the cheapest compared to Kuromon or Nishiki Market, and it has great taste too! We tried 3 pieces of prawn kushikatsu for 700 yen.
Taiyaki — We tried a taiyaki with butter filling. It was okay to try once, but maybe the butter was too mild for our taste.

Ride the Sagano Romantic Train around 12:00 PM. Buy tickets on the direct website for RM47, but don’t click “Redeem” until you’re at the station. Book Rich Car No. 5, Seats 6A & 6D for the best scenic view! We took the route from Saga/Arashiyama Station to Kameoka Station, which is about 20 minutes. From Kameoka, we walked to Umahori Station, and if you take a train to Emmachi Station, sit on the left side for the best view!
