Soaking in the snowy outdoor baths at Tsurunoyu Onsen
This is the ultimate onsen experience! At Tsurunoyu, you'll find both mixed-gender and women-only outdoor baths. The mixed-gender bath requires a towel, but it's incredibly beautiful and feels like a dream. The women-only bath has milky white water, which is also stunning. I highly recommend staying overnight if you can, as the snowy scenery is even more beautiful with the lights on at night.
