This is a hidden gem of a matcha cafe located right inside the train tracks in Kyoto. It's a unique spot where you can enjoy great coffee and cheesecake while watching real running trains pass by. There are about five seats outside facing the tracks, and the inside is also cool and moody.

- Matcha cheesecake — Their matcha cheesecake is the best I've ever tasted. You can really taste the matcha, and the texture is very thick. It pairs amazingly with their matcha latte.
- Matcha latte — A delicious matcha latte that goes perfectly with the thick matcha cheesecake.

A Buddhist temple that is way less touristy than Kiyomizu-dera, the one everyone goes to in the Gion district. It features beautiful gardens, including a Kara Sansui (dry landscape garden) with ripple patterns made of sand. It's one of my favorites because you get to take off your shoes, walk on the tatami, and really take in the serene atmosphere.

- Kara Sansui garden — This ripple pattern garden made of sand is one of my favorite features here. It's incredibly peaceful and beautiful.
- Tatami rooms — You get to take off your shoes and walk on the tatami mats, which allows you to really immerse yourself in the temple's atmosphere and look out into the gardens.
- Sliding door paintings — Gorgeous paintings on the sliding doors, adding to the temple's aesthetic and cultural richness.

- Seasonal pasta — Their pasta is actually to die for! It's part of their small, seasonal menu, showcasing their Japanese-Italian fusion approach.
