Blooms run from April to October, but mid to late July is the best time to catch the lavender at its peak. You can get here by car (about 1 hour from Asahikawa or 2 hours from Sapporo, or stay nearby in Furano) or by train (from June to August, the seasonal Furano Biei Norokko Train stops directly at Lavender Farm Station, just a 7-minute walk from the fields).
