Mikawaya is the place to try what might be the biggest miso katsu in Japan! Great taste, great value—everything about this place is on point. The massive pork cutlet is thick yet incredibly tender, making it the perfect match with rice. The red miso-based sauce isn’t too heavy, so it’s surprisingly easy to finish despite how big it looks. From the very first bite, you won’t be able to stop eating! And if it’s too much, you can take the leftovers home—which is always a nice bonus.

The BEST day trip from Osaka 🇯🇵👇 If you’re planning a trip to Japan, don’t just stick to the cities… this is one of the most underrated experiences you can have The Kumano Kodo is a network of ancient pilgrimage trails in the mountains of Wakayama, with over 1000 years of history It connects three main sacred sites known as the Kumano Sanzan: 📍 Kumano Nachi Taisha (with the famous waterfall) 📍 Kumano Hongu Taisha 📍 Kumano Hayatama Taisha 🚗 How to get there I booked a day tour through get your guide (u can book the same one in my bio) which takes you to all 3 main sites and is the best day trip from Osaka 🌿 What to expect • walking through quiet forest trails • shrines hidden in the mountains • waterfalls and insane scenery • learning about the history and spiritual significance of the area 🕓 How long do you need You can do a day trip from Osaka or spend a few days hiking sections of the trail if you have more time 💡 Good to know • Wear comfortable shoes, there’s a bit of walking • Bring water and snacks • Best in spring or autumn for good weather • There is a lot of driving so bring something to keep you occupied If you want to see a completely different side of Japan… this is it Save this for your itinerary 🌿

Ok you've heard of cafe hopping but have you heard of Hobby-hopping?! ପ(๑•ᴗ•๑)ଓ ♡ Starting this series to introduce more unique experiences you can do in Japan, but also as a way for me to try new things this year!! One of my New Year's resolutions was to "feel like myself again", and that includes trying more new things and leaning more into my craft side hehe. Of course, there's nothing wrong with the typical tourist activities, especially if it's your first time in Japan; however, I do get a lot of DMs about my recommendations for events and experiences that are maybe a bit more unique. SO this is a series in response to those DMs!! I have some ideas for the next few episodes, but let me know if there's something else you're looking forward to seeing ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ♡‧₊˚ Store information: Ann Fragrance 【@annfragrance】 📍Yamazaki Building 101, 2-32-10 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo 111-0032 #Japan #Tokyo #PR #thingstodointokyo #japantravel

I’ve never experienced anything like Okunoin (奥の院墓地) in my life. Walking through Japan’s largest cemetery, surrounded by ancient cedar trees and thousands of tombstones, the spiritual energy was truly overwhelming ✨ I honestly can’t even explain the feeling...it was so powerful, so peaceful, and so special. If you visit Koyasan, you have to experience this for yourself. 📍 Okunoin Cemetery (奥の院墓地), Koyasan, Wakayama Prefecture #okunoin #koyasan #wakayama #japantravel #spiritualjapan
